Responsibilities
- Inspect diagnose and repair used vehicles to meet manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on pre-owned cars.
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify vehicle problems efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate closely with service advisors and parts department to optimize workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician preferably with used vehicles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and automotive software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to/from the dealership.
