Job Summary

The Opportunity:

The Payroll Specialist will serve on the Global Finance Team and report directly to their regional Payroll Supervisor. This individual should strive for excellence in their work be a great team player and enjoy a fast-paced environment.

Prepare and process payrolls for employees in the Americas EMEA and APAC regions.
Ensure the timely delivery of semi-monthly and monthly payroll files.
Work closely with the People Operations (HR) and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy of the payroll data. Including but not limited to data related to new hires terminations transfers variable compensation inputs and job information changes.
Review employees expense reports.
Maintain the updated employee information in our tools (Expensify and Netsuite).
Carry out communication with Finance and payroll providers creating and maintaining files as needed.
Ensure stock based compensation activity is accurately captured in employees pay profiles and related taxes are remitted to tax authorities.
Participate in month-end quarter-end and year-end closing tasks.
Support the execution of annual statutory audits pursuant to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act as well as regional internal and external audits ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the timely delivery of audit documentation and responses.
Support other members of the finance team as needed.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

B.S. in Business Administration Economics or Labor.
3 years of experience administering payroll.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Law in regards to labor social security and taxes.
Experience with NetSuite or similar cloud-based ERP is preferred.
Practical knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and ADP Celergo is preferred.
A proactive mentality as well as strong organization and coordination skills.
Attention to detail with a concern for quality.
Someone with a basic understanding of internal controls.
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maturity.
Fluency in English as it is the companys working language. Other languages are a plus.
