Job Summary

We are seeking talented professionals to join IDIADAs resident engineering team in one of our clients in Bologna to be integrated into the Homologation Team for a world-leading vehicle manufacturer.
We are looking for a Homologation Engineer to join our team and support global compliance and homologation activities. This position plays a key role in managing regulatory data software approval workflows and preparing homologation packages across international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support homologation processes including software approval cycles and compliance tracking activities
- Monitor and maintain regulatory databases and component certification records
- Prepare homologation packages and technical compliance documentation for vehicles
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and associated tracking tools
- Participate in meetings and deliver clear structured reporting on homologation progress and compliance status.
Qualifications :
- Experience in homologation tasks and processes
- Knowledge of EU and UNECE regulations for Whole Vehicle Type Approval
- Familiarity with homologation tools and systems
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Fluent in Italian and English language
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering/Vehicle Engineering or related fields
- Previous experience in automotive homologation or compliance will be considered a plus.
