Job Summary
Guest Teachers Needed- Stafford Childrens Center at Stafford Technical CenterThe Stafford Childrens Center is a Pre-K program located within Stafford Technical Center. The preschool staff partner with the students enrolled in the Education & Human Services program at Stafford to deliver a literature-based developmentally appropriate curriculum. The Childrens Center is state state-licensed educational center for children ages 3-5. We are seeking Guest Teachers to assist us when our regular staff is unavailable. The Stafford Childrens Center is open from 7:30 AM 4:00 PM. There are several certifications that are required to work with this age group and we will work with candidates to help them navigate the process and cover the costs associated with each of the candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent or a certificate of completion from an Education & Human Services program. Prior to serving as a Guest Teacher candidates must either hold or be willing to complete the following state-required trainings and certifications: Orientation: Completion of 9 hours of orientation training Mandated Reporter Certification Pediatric First Aid & CPRBackground Check: Must pass a comprehensive background : Required as part of the onboarding hired as a Guest Teacher candidates must be willing to complete 4 hours of approved professional development each year to remain on the Guest Teacher list.
