Were looking for a collaborative confident and ambitious Event Manager to join the Operations Team at Reuters Events in London and help us organise a busy portfolio of virtual and physical international events.

About the Role

As an Event Manager you will:

  • Successfully plan and manage the end-to-end logistics for a high volume of annual conferences and events in a variety of formats (in-person hybrid & virtual).

  • Research and source venues suppliers and contractors.

  • Plan and book travel and accommodation arrangements then.

  • Play an instrumental role in the negotiation of budgets and contracts to ensure were delivering a great quality service whilst keeping costs to a minimum.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to bring the events to life and ensure their commercial success.

  • Travel to and supervise the on the day running of the events.


About You

To be our Event Manager you will likely have:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing B2B conferences and exhibitions.

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous planning skills

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively work efficiently and juggle competing priorities.

  • Experience of managing budgets and reporting on event expenditure

  • Excellent communication skills with the professionalism and confidence to liaise with senior level industry contacts.
