What we are looking for:

NRC is seeking an experienced Private Sector Partnerships Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the Private Sector Partnerships function within our Global Private Fundraising Team. This role will support day-to-day partnership activities and contribute to engaging private individuals and private sector organisations to mobilise a diverse range of resources for NRC - including unearmarked funding grants pro bono support and strategic investments.

The Private Sector Partnerships function provides global leadership capacity building and strategic guidance to ensure the development of strong diverse and multi-year partnerships across all levels of the organisation. These partnerships are designed to generate sustainable resources and long-term value aligned with NRCs mandate and overarching strategy to improve outcomes for the people we serve.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to implementing NRCs private fundraising strategies tools and systems

  • Assist with sourcing content for internal and external communication products including articles videos impact reports and social media posts.

  • Communicate with a selection of the sections leads and supporters in relation to emergency fundraising campaigns employee giving etc.

  • Support the section with administrative tasks related to private sector partnerships and donations such as organisational assessments of NRC mapping activities data entry in NRCs CRM-system and handling internal and external enquiries.

  • Conduct vetting of potential private sector partners.

  • Assist with the implementation of fundraising campaigns events and partner activities.

  • Coordinate section meetings workshops retreats and minutes.

  • Any other tasks and responsibilities falling under the section mandate as instructed by line and technical manager.

  • Distribute content via the sections internal and external communications platforms Support with the development of the sections routines and procedures.

  • Monitor the inbox for external private sector partnership and fundraising enquiries and respond as needed.

  • Monitor the inbox/helpdesk for internal private sector partnership enquiries and provide information/support or direct requests as needed.

What you will bring:

  • Must possess a higher education degree.

  • Fluency in Norwegian and English both written and verbal.

  • Documented abilities to simultaneously manage numerous tasks schedules and documents.

  • Demonstratedhigh qualitycommunication skillsincluding writing and editing text for public engagement.

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience within administration communications project work or similar.

  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs particularly Excel and preferably PowerPoint and SharePoint.

  • Understanding of use of LinkedIn CRM-systems or other digital tools is an advantage.

  • Interest in humanitarian and displacement issues an advantage.

  • Duty station: Oslo Norway.

  • Contract: Permanent.

  • Salary/benefits: Grade 7 on NRCs Resident salary scale with accompanying terms and conditions.
