MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS:

Project Coordination
Understanding of general Civil Engineering design principles
Construction Document preparation for competitive construction bidding is a Plus
Experience in Site Geometry Utility Services and/or Main design Site Grading Storm Drainage design Stormwater Management Stormwater Pollution Prevention design and/or Local Agency Code Analysis and Implementation in Design a Plus
Preparation of Project Documentation and Reports is a Plus

QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited College/University
1-4 years of experience
EI License Certification
Experience with AutoCAD MicroStation GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads a Plus
Proficiency in Excel
ICPR Experience a Plus
WaterCad Experience a Plus
AutoTurn Experience a Plus

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform civil site facility analysis and design
Prepare conceptual designs final design and construction plans and specifications under the direction and supervision of the Engineer of Record
Perform engineering calculations in support of civil engineering design
Function as a staff civil site engineering intern
Assemble civil engineering construction and permit documents including but not limited to plans and reports
Preparation of applications and forms for plan approvals and permitting
Maintain and update civil engineering records and reports
Perform intern-level engineering work in the office and field related to civil engineering and construction projects
Verify and backcheck all work prior to submittal to the Engineer of Record project lead project manager or supervisor
Provide engineering support during construction
Coordination with other in-house and out-of-office team members
Perform related engineering intern duties and responsibilities as assigned
