What is the role

We are currently on the hunt for an experienced Systems Engineer witha backgroundworking for an IT Systems Integrator or Managed Service Provider.

Working from ourNewcastle officefull-time (38 hours) Monday to Fridaythe role will be responsible in providing technical solutions for our clients including problem resolution product installation configuration testing and product/service recommendations.

With our front-line team taking care of triaging you will service clients suited to your professional skillset ensuring a positive experience for both you and the client.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide remote and onsite IT support

• Diagnose and resolve hardware/network issues

• Maintain system performance reliability and security

• Collaborate with clients on technical needs

• Recommend technologies andassistinselection

• Create design and technical documentation

• Support junior staff and escalate issues

• Monitor logs and respond to incidents

• Liaise with vendors as needed

• Improve and automate procedures

• Expand technical skills through training

• Log activities accurately

• Participate in on-call support

• Perform other related tasks

Who we are looking for

This is acustomer-facingrole who will need to have excellent presentation and communication skills as well as being highly role requires a large amount of autonomy so a candidate who hasgood timemanagement andorganisationalskills will be heavilyfavoured.

Alongside havinggreat communicationskills and vibrant personality technical skillsrequiredfor a successful candidate include:

• WindowsServer setup administrationsupportand maintenance

• ExchangeServer setupsupportand administration

• Entra IDOffice 365/ Intune

• Remote Desktopsupportand administration

• Veeamsupportand administration

• Basic network troubleshooting experience with basic network protocols any Cisco router experience will be highly regarded

• Basic telephone system support any experience highly regarded

• Experience with remote support tools TeamViewer Remote Desktop Manageretc

• VMWare

• MSP experience is highly desirable
