Description

The Parking Attendant provides professional courteous and compassionate guest services.

Pay: $19.00/per hour

The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicantsexperience skills abilities geographic locationand alignment with market data.

Shift: 9:30 am to 6:00 pm (Subject to change)

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age

Must possess a valid drivers license

Must be able to operate both standard and automatic transmissions

Parking Attendant / Maintenance / Reliever

RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)

Assist with garage maintenance

Park and/or move vehicles on entire level especially when full on lower levels

Pre-inspect vehicles for damages a must

Complete reports as needed (i.e. Key log Damage log Empty space logs)

Provide excellent customer service

Assist with carwash vehicles

Direct traffic

Maintenance of entire level

Work on projects assigned by Management

Assist with special events

Assist with breaks and cover vacations when and if needed

Maintain ticket and logs inventory

Able to follow ABM policies and procedures - work closely with supervisors to execute tasks effectively

JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

Excellent communication skills

Able to drive stick shift

Professional manner attitude and appearance

High level of integrity a must

Must be able to learn new concepts adapt to change and collaborate

Punctuality - Reliability and able to work beyond regular schedule if required.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate traffic flow

Communicate valet procedure information and directions clearly and effectively with guests.

Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and team member inquiries.

Monitor illegal parking and immediately store vehicles.

Interact with guests in a friendly manner

Assist guests with loading and unloading

Collect and secure guest keys

Predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues

Identify and arrange for extra support for extended wait times.

Accurately tally and split the tip pool

Receive and receipt a variety of valet payments

Accurately reconcile and report daily revenue

Project currency and coin requirements and re-order as necessary.

Operate park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws Facility policies and applicable pedestrian regulations.

Work in an outdoor unprotected environment in all climates for extended periods of time

Keep work area clean of debris.
