The Culinary team at Aldersgate is currently hiring for Full-Time Baker to help support ourGatehouseDining Venue and Market. We are a creative team that is passionate about using fresh local and sustainable products to bring high-quality food to our community. The Baker will have a unique opportunity to channel their knowledge skills ambition and experience in a meaningful way that directly impacts the lives of our residents and team members.
- Schedule/Availability:
- Weekdays: 9 am to 5 pm or 10 am to 6 pm
- Weekends (As needed)
What youll do:
- Responsible for daily desserts and other baking.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef in setting up and preparing the next baking and desserts.
- Follow proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time material and equipment to avoid waste.
- Adhere to food quality appearance and presentation standards.
What youll need:
- 1 year of baking and dessert preparation experience
- ServeSafe Certified
Compensation for this position is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour based on background and experience in addition to our comprehensive benefits package!
