• Perform oil and filter changes according to manufacturer specifications
• Check top off and replace vehicle fluids (engine oil transmission coolant brake power steering windshield washer etc.)
• Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance issues including belts hoses tires lights wiper blades and battery condition
• Rotate and balance tires as required
• Check and adjust tire pressure
• Replace air filters and cabin filters
• Lubricate vehicle components as needed
  
  

• Conduct courtesy vehicle inspections and document findings
• accurately identify and report potential mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors or service advisors
• Make maintenance recommendations based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines
  
  

• Follow all shop safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Properly dispose of used oil filters and hazardous materials
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
• Use shop tools and equipment properly and responsibly
  
  

• Communicate professionally with service advisors and team members
• Provide honest accurate information regarding vehicle condition
• Support team operations and assist other technicians as needed
  
  

• Basic mechanical knowledge and interest in automotive repair
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Valid drivers license and ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
• 6 months of related job experience (Preferred)
• Ability to follow instructions work effectively in a team environment and uphold Meinekes commitment to high-quality work.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• State inspectors license or willingness to obtain
