Zumba Dance Instructor- Manguson Community Center

If you have experience working with groups of adults and have a passion for teaching aerobic dance Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has an amazing role for you as a cardio Zumba DanceInstructor. This is a seasonal role at Magnuson Community Center Seattle.

ARC in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs classes and this role the Zumba GoldDanceInstructorwill be responsible forengaging participants and teaching Zumba dance/cardio fitness (radio hits pop club hip hop and Latin music) to groups of adults. The Zumba GoldDanceInstructoris responsible for maintaining a safe fun inclusive environment welcoming to all.

Location: Magnuson Community Center

Zumba Dance InstructorResponsibilities

Develop and deliver dance classes as per the schedule. Instructors are expected to plan class curriculum.
Complete required administrative reports such as attendance logs and incident reports.

Relationship Building

Maintain positive relationships with families staff and the general public.
Create a safe welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.
Collaborate with recreation coordinator and other on-site staff to ensure safety of all participants.
Collaborate with recreation coordinator to manage behavioral concerns.
Communicate with parents coworkers and Seattle Parks and Recreation partners in a professional and courteous manner.

Zumba Dance InstructorRequirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older
Experience teaching Zumba dance to a group of adults
Foster a welcoming environment for diverse groups of adults

Pay:

Starting Pay: $26.50- 28.50/hr.
Full Pay Range: $26.50-36.50/hr(employee may earn up to $36.50/hr with continued employment)
