Responsibilities
TheDesign Engineering Internwill assist the Design Engineering team and will be responsible for generating engineering drawings and 3D models. As time allows special design works hands-on prototype assembly documentation and other engineering tasks will be allocated.
We have part-time ( 15 hours per week) available in Spring 2026 and Full-Time (40 hours per week) available Summer 2026. During the Spring and Fall we will work around your class schedule.
Qualifications
Must have the ability to handle 3d modeling software (ex. SolidWorks SolidEdge Revit etc) and to read/generate manufacturing drawings.
A basic understanding of manufacturing processes is required.
Ability to use computers and MS Office software (Word and Excel).
Must be able to read speak and write English fluently.
Ability to understand instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Work Experience:
3-D modeling HVAC and sheet metal experiences are preferredbut not required.
Education:
Must be currently enrolled student majoring in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Technologist or working towards a related degree and/or certifications.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
