Description

Social Worker-TemporaryThe Wilkin County Health and Human Services Department is seeking a temporary full-time Social Worker. The Wilkin County Social Worker position under direction performs work in providing social work services on cases involving complex social problems and social treatment plans; performs responsible and difficult casework directs service programs or provides work direction to paraprofessional staff; and performs related work as assigned. The position requires an individual to assess a situation utilize available resources with limited direction develop and implement case plans with input from counselors co-workers and other service providers as appropriate.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelors degree rom an accredited four-year college or university with a major in social work psychology sociology or closely related field
Or; A bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in any field and one year of experience as a social worker in a public or private social services agency.

Preference will be given to applicants who are currently employed in a county social service agency.

Salary & Benefits
County employees receive competitive pay and a generous benefit offering. Starting Salary Range: $30.51 - $42.23 per hour.
