Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Apache Cassandra and NoSQL databases to manage optimize and support highly available scalable database environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with distributed systems automation performance tuning and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Database Administrator with hands-on expertise in Cassandra Redis MariaDB and/or MongoDB.
Strong understanding of NoSQL database concepts and distributed systems.
In-depth knowledge of Cassandra architecture including internals storage engine and compaction strategies.
Solid experience working with Linux/Unix environments.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash Python or similar languages.
Strong understanding of replication consistency models partitioning and data distribution.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus OpsCenter or equivalent.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented cross-functional environment.
Excellent analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with DevOps and SRE metrics including change failure rate lead time for changes and automation maturity.
