OUR FOOD: We procure high quality meats and our sides anddesserts are made in-house every day. The right candidate will be highly food-focused ensuring appropriate par levels freshness preparation methods and cook times.

OUR GROWTH: Southside Market & Barbeque the Oldest Authentic Texas BBQ joint in Central Texas isfamilyowned and is getting bigger!Currently were in Elgin TXBastrop TX Austin TX Hutto TX and now Leander! We have a history of being the oldest BBQ joint in the state of Texas. Wecouldnt have done that without our valued team members and dedicated leadership want to keep making history. but we need to continue to add skilled and devoted managers that want to work for a company that has many growth opportunities

YOUR GROWTH: Our new managers get trainingin every position and learn the Southside way ofbusiness. We heavily invest in the training ofour managers so they can have all of the knowledge they need to be successful in their position. We have a proven record of growing team members from within no matter what position they start out Southside there is opportunity for growth not only at the location you are interested in first joining but also opportunity to take on an even bigger role as we add more locations and expand the business. We are growing and we want to grow people with us.



Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Experience in managinga high-volume kitchen or restaurant
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
    • Our managers cook leadthe team and tend to our guests!
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Has the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Cash managingexperience
  • Able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • 2 4 years of Shift Lead or Restaurant Manager experience highly preferred

Licenses certifications

  • Culinary certification associates or higher degree preferred
  • Current/valid drivers license in good standing
  • Current/valid TABC licenseor able to obtain upon hire
  • Valid ServSafe/Food Manager Certificate or able to obtain upon hire

This position works under and reports to the Restaurant General Manager.
