Job Summary
Position: Residential Aide
Program: Womens Rise
Location: New Haven
Salary: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Full time 40 hours 2nd shift Friday-Tuesday (3-11p)
Program Summary:
The Womens Rise is a residential work release program providing case management job readiness and substance and mental health education to adult females who are under the supervision of DOC. We help women rise as they reenter their communities.
Position Summary:
The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care. This includes activities of daily living and providing support for safety health and wellness. This position also assists program staff. The ideal candidate will establish develop and maintain respectful relationships with the people served. The Residential Aide will participate in maintaining a safe harm-free environment for all residents.
Working within Adult Services the Residential Aide works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate educate and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 2 years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
- Valid Connecticut Drivers License
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
