Job Description:
RTS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Senior Test Engineer you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive hardware testing strategies for a wide range of components support various forms of radiation effects testing (total dose neutron dose rate single event effects) both at the Colorado Springs facility as well as off-site facilities work with customers to define test requirements work with test technicians engineers and management to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement hardware test plans protocols and procedures.
- Create and maintain test hardware and software infrastructure.
- Perform rigorous hardware testing including functional performance and reliability testing.
- Analyze test results identify defects and collaborate with engineers and test technicians to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain test documentation and procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability considerations.
- Contribute to the development of new testing methodologies and tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsSkills and Requirements:
- Experience testing a wide variety of electronic components from diodes to memories.
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Experience with test data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with radiation effects testing of components.
