Buffalo Hearing & Speech is seeking a dedicated Full-Time or Part-Time Custodian to join our team.

Full-Time Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. 3:30 full-time role includes daily travel starting at our Amherst clinic and continuing to our North Street location in Buffalo.

Part-Time Schedule (15 hours per week):
Monday through Friday at our Amherst clinic either 7:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m.

The Custodian plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness safety and overall appearance of Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center.

Essential Functions:

• Clean Vacuum and maintain appearance on a daily basis for bathrooms classrooms offices conference rooms hallways etc as individually assigned.
• Clean and Vacuum Hearing Booths and Audiology Treatment rooms
• Empty all garbage daily
• Refill necessary items such as soap dispensers toilet paper paper towels etc.
• Refill water coolers
• Wipe down classroom/clinical equipment in necessary rooms such as the PT/OT room library playground classrooms evaluation rooms etc.
• Complete recycling tasks daily. Cardboard paper etc.
• Ensure all end of the day items are completed such as turning off televisions coffee pot burners and lights. Alarm must be activated upon exit.
• Assist with necessary maintenance of grounds and buildings as needed.
• All other duties as requested by your supervisor.

Education:

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma/ GED

Physical Requirements :

• Physical actions may include but are not limited to; bending kneeling standing squatting reaching printing crawling and running.
• Vision speech tactical and hearing senses adequate to perform job requirements.
