We are currently seeking a PRNRespiratory Therapistto join our team atReception and Medical Centerlocated inLake Butler Florida (Union County).
TheRespiratory Therapist (RT)is responsible for providing assessment treatment and care for patients with breathing disorders. The RT assumes primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities initiates and conducts therapeutic procedures in a correctional setting.
Qualifications Associates or Bachelors Degree from an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program
Credentialed as a Certified Respiratory (CRT) Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care and have active license in the state of practice
Current CPR certification and tuberculosis documentation
At least one (1) year experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
Knowledge of practices standards techniques and tools/equipment applicable to basic and advanced respiratory patient care including critical care oxygen therapy home ventilator management chest physiotherapy spirometry aerosol therapy EKGs arterial blood gas analysis patient assessment and airway management
12 hour shifts 6:45-7:15
