We are seeking a strategic and technical Strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our network hardware this role you will manage relationships with global OEMs (i.e. Cisco Arista Juniper etc) to ensure a resilient scalable and cost-effective supply chain. You will be responsible for balancing supply with demand in a volatile market ensuring our infrastructure projects stay on schedule.
You will:
- Identify and vet global suppliers for networking components (Routers Switches Optical Transport Systems Optics Cables).
- Collaborate with Engineering and Finance to create accurate forecasts for hardware deployments accounting for long lead times.
- Manage hardware transitions (NPI - New Product Introduction) and End-of-Life (EOL) processes to minimize excess and obsolescence (E&O).
- Drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key vendors to track KPIs such as On-Time Delivery (OTD) Quality and Cost Reduction.
- Develop Plan B strategies for critical components to bypass geopolitical disruptions or supply chain shortages.
- Ensure hardware meets regional regulatory certifications (CE FCC RoHS).
- Run point on delivery management
- Collaborate regularly with internal and external partners
- Enter and track PO status
- Track upcoming contracts/agreements for renewal/re-negotiations
- Facilitate change management with key contacts throughout the organization
- Manage invoice/payment trackers
- Assist with back end billing issue resolution
- Create dashboards to enhance leadership visibility
You have:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience and 3 years in a high-growth company with procurement project management engineering accounting or forecasting experience
- Hands-on experience with a procurement system. Netsuite or iProcure experience preferred
- Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets
- Handled issue tracking and resolution
- Solid interpersonal skills
- A knack for details and are calm in a fast-paced environment
