We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurseto join our team at Farmington Correctional Center located inFarmington Missouri.

The Mental Health LPN isresponsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Mental Health Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify assess and respond to a wide range of physical psychological and social needs of the patient. Mental Health nurses may also participate in and lead group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.

Qualifications

Missouri LPNlicense or ability to obtain license
IV Certification Required
Specialty training in psychiatric nursing
Current CPR
Corrections experience not required
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift:(Weekends) Friday 5:30am-7pm Sat and Sun are 5:30am-7:30pm
