Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator to join Amteck in Lawrenceburg KY. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various electrical construction equipment at job sites. This is a full-time position with tons of room for advancement. A willingness to travel is desired but not mandatory previous electrical experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain electrical construction equipment including but not limited to excavators backhoes trenchers and augers.
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and safe operations on the job site.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations promoting a culture of safety among the team.
- Assist with general labor duties as needed including material handling and site cleanup.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors project managers and team members to report progress issues and concerns.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of electrical construction practices and procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
