Temp To Full-Time

I.K. Hofmann is hiring Warehouse Associate for our client in Greenville SC. This is a temp to hire job opportunity.

You will train on 1st shift and then move to 2nd shift once your training is complete.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Move freight stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas loading docks delivery vehicles containers by hand or using hand trucks pallet jacks forklifts or other equipment.

Sort materials before loading and unloading.

Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.

Record numbers of units handled or moved using daily production sheets or work tickets.

Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Frequently positioning of oneself to perform work tasks

Must be able to operate the manipulation of tools objects and controls is necessary

Move up to 40 pounds repeatedly

Ability to work in different climates such as extreme hot/humid or cold for an entire shift.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED

Material Handling experience

Steel-toe shoes
