As a key member of our team the Senior Recruiter will partner with our Talent Acquisition Team to develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies that attract engage and retain exceptional talent. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping our workforce and driving the companys success.

Role Overview

You will play a vital part in supporting the growth and evolution of Collins Engineers Inc. by collaborating with hiring managers across the organization to identify attract and secure top-tier candidates for current and future openings. This includes crafting local and national recruiting plans utilizing traditional sourcing methods and pioneering new and creative talent acquisition strategies. Ensuring the highest quality of hires will be central to your mission.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own and lead the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and engineering roles including senior and technical leadership positions ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring journey.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and senior leaders to clarify hiring needs shape compelling role profiles and align on effective forward-looking recruitment strategies.
  • Sourcing Strategy: Design and execute proactive sourcing approaches that attract top talent leveraging a diverse mix of channels such as direct sourcing social platforms professional networks and referrals.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and nurture strong pipelines of both active and passive candidates across critical technical disciplines positioning Collins to compete for top talent in a dynamic market.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Monitor and analyze key recruiting metrics to continuously refine processes and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Candidate Experience: Champion an exceptional candidate experience from first touch through onboarding strengthening our employer brand and reinforcing Collins as an employer of choice.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to local state and federal regulations as well as internal policies and best practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10 years of experience in technical recruiting preferably in the civil engineering sector.
  • Expertise in direct sourcing networking and engaging with passive talent across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle with demonstrated experience in niche hiring.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) HRIS and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
