Janitorial Part Time Custodian Evening Schedule

Brophy College Preparatory Arizonas only Catholic Jesuit high school is currently accepting letters of interest from candidates for the position of Janitorial Custodian.

Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

Working Monday 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and Thursday-Friday 5:30-10 p.m. with the ability to be flexible

Performing daily cleaning of buildings and grounds as directed

Daily disposal of landfill and recycle waste throughout campus

Performing scheduled PM duties i.e. floor scrubbing window washing carpet cleaning etc.

Assisting with setup and cleaning of facilities for events as needed

Maintaining security of buildings and equipment

Monitoring inventory of all janitorial supplies

Compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment

Performing other duties as assigned

The Janitorial Part Time Custodian is not a benefits eligible position. It is a non-exempt full-time 12-month member of Brophys support staff who reports to the Director of Facilities and Food Services. Requisite qualifications include:

Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekday shifts

Ability to work outdoors as needed

Punctuality and must be a well-organized self-starter with the ability to multitask

Maintaining a clean and neat personal appearance

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain a high level of attention to detail

Ability to read English safety labels and signs

Bending and lifting items up to 30 pounds

Climbing stairs stools and ladders

Experience in handling janitorial equipment is preferred

Must pass E-Verify and a criminal background check
