We are currently seeking a full-timeRegistered Nurse Infection Control Nurseto join our team atWashington State Prison - Davisboro GA.

Shift:

Full-time Day shift 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM 10 hr. shift
One weekend per month12-hour shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Occasional on-call coverage required

Hourly Rate:

$41.00 -$46.00 an hour
Shift Differential - weekends: Additional $1.00 per hour

Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control (Corrections) is responsible for leading and supporting infection prevention and control practices within a correctional healthcare setting. This role provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify assess and respond to a wide range of physical psychological and social needs while ensuring compliance with infection control standards and facility protocols.

Requirements

Associates degree required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
Minimum 1 year of direct Infection Control experience required
Current CPR certification required
Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and criminal background check
