Job Title: Waterpark Manager

Pay:

Location: Kissimmee FL

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow and execute all daily responsibilities including checking emails attend leadership meetings/training control all areas of guest flow throughout the waterpark control all controllable costs/inventory create events within the waterpark to increase revenue with reasonable cost and execute/finalize all sales events and marketing.
  • Direct the overall operation of the water park facility department to include but not limited to: food and beverage operations childrens activities corporate group and member events team member/internal events and other recreational programs to drive and increase additional revenue.
  • Assist department with any guest and member complaints/concerns and keep open communication with all departments.
  • Organize and maintain a clean safe work environment at all times.
  • Provide flawless and friendly customer service interactions with all external and internal guests of all ages.
  • Responsible for the completion and delegation (where appropriate and/or as assigned) of all administrative and budgetary duties associated with all areas of the Water park division and outlying recreational/designated facilities as listed above.
  • Responsible for implementing resort-wide recreation specific special events and promotions: Conceptual ROIprofit/loss projections guest perception entertainment value marketing support post-event evaluation.
  • Develop a solicitation plan to recruit new concessionaire opportunities that enhance the guest experience and/or provide revenues.
  • Responsible for monitoring annual contracts licenses insurances audits quarterly operation evaluations guest satisfaction scores ongoing policy enforcement.
  • Producing regularly scheduled special events for our team members.
  • Develop a working annual budget for the department and control that budget throughout the year through forecasting expense control and P&L review.
  • Develop policies procedures and future growth for the Water Park Departments.
  • Assist owners and guests with concerns and comments relative to the water park operation.
  • Assist in the development of department team members.
  • Attend operational and departmental management meetings as required.
  • Responsible for interviewing hiring training payroll and coaching & counseling recreation attendant housekeeping and food & beverage service staff.
  • Assist with the creation of menus beverages alcohol inventory including content and pricing.
  • Create and communicate daily and weekly specials in outlets.
  • Establish and maintain par stock of all related F&B equipment and product including alcohol.
  • Establish and maintain par stock of all related recreational equipment within the Cove and Water Park facilities.
  • Hold daily stand up meetings as well as monthly department meetings.
  • Understand all Health Department requirements and regulations regarding pool facilities and maintenance.
  • Understand all Health Department requirements and regulations regarding Kitchen and Food Safety.
  • Control of F& B areas:
    • Regularly check all areas for maintenance requirements and follow up both FOH and BOH.
    • Keep a close eye on correct billing to member accounts.
    • Ensure responsible alcohol vendor practices are strictly adhered to.
    • Ensure tightest control over Food & Beverage security of outlets storage and offices.
  • Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is met with the highest standard and regard for the overall guest experience.
  • Assist all external and internal guest with all security and safety needs. Ensure all security and safety needs are reported with in-depth detail.
  • Partner with Human Resources for hiring disciplinary action coaching career growth training etc.
  • Set department goals and support staff in reaching those goals
  • Complete any additional duties/tasks assigned.


Qualifications
  • Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts weekends and holidays
  • Must have attention to detail strong ability to multi-task and time-management skills
  • Must be able to sit stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching pushing pulling lifting carrying etc.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be trained or willing to be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED
  • At least 2 years experience in food and beverage or waterpark management is required. Large luxury resort experience is a plus. Hospitality and/or F&B experience of at least 5 years is required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Bachelors Degree in related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift push carry and pull up to 50lbs.
  • Exposure to various types of Florida weather conditions including: sunshine heat and rain.
