WHAT YOULL BE DOING

The Fleet Maintenance Foreman is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. Youll lead the activities of the fleet maintenance department to ensure that fleet and heavy equipment is available dependable and safe at all times and youll oversee the fleet preventive maintenance (PM) program.

Reporting to our Fleet Maintenance Manager youll lead a team of Fleet Maintenance Mechanics. Youll work with commercial drivers forklift drivers dispatch and plant leadership to ensure on schedule safe delivery of Jensen products.

A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

Leading the activities of the fleet maintenance employees.
Troubleshooting employee and fleet maintenance problems and recommending solutions. Assisting drivers with vehicle issues.
Engaging in interactive communication. Training employees in the operation of equipment safety procedures and company policies. Monitoring comprehension and re-training as necessary.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment returning all tools after use to proper storage location and performing routine housekeeping (i.e.: cleaning organizing).
Inspecting diagnosing repairing operating and maintaining diesel trucks forklifts and moving equipment.
Examining and inspecting work progress to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
Maintaining accurate records of all inspections and maintenance of equipment and recording information such as personnel production and operational data on specified forms and reports.
Advising supervisor of equipment needing attention.

You enjoy seeing a task through to completion and take pride in your work. You can successfully support the Manager by being an excellent hands-on lead to a small team. You have experience with diesel engines brake systems and hydraulics. Youre excellent with basic tools to perform routine maintenance and are familiar with DOT requirements. You dont take shortcuts. Youre safety conscious not just for yourself but for your team.
