Your role your impact
As an Occupational Therapist in our Child Development Allied health team you will:
- Deliver evidence-based assessment individual and group therapy for children aged 08 supporting their development and family capacity
- Champion cultural competence by ensuring assessments and interventions are inclusive and accessible for all families with a focus on those most vulnerable
- Manage risk and caseloads by conducting thorough assessments documenting goals and implementing care plans
- Collaborate and share knowledge within a multidisciplinary team and with external partners contributing to a supportive and innovative workplace
- Maintain compliance and quality by keeping accurate records and meeting service standards
Your work will directly impact children and families in our community helping them achieve their goals and build brighter futures.
Who were looking for
To thrive in this role you will bring:
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
- Experience supporting children parents and families to enhance childrens development
- Skills in fine and gross motor sensory processing play social and self-care skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively
- Knowledge of CMOP COPM standardised assessments and use of evidence-based practice
- Ability to coach mentor and consult with educators and families
- Current drivers licence and cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check
What will make you stand out:
- Experience in multidisciplinary teams and community settings
- MARAM (intermediate) training or willingness to complete
- Understanding of the Not-For-Profit and Health sectors
