Erie Family Health Centers a nationally recognized top workplace with 14 sites in Chicago and suburbs is looking for a valuable addition to our leadership team at the Erie Humboldt Park location. As a supervisor youll lead the frontline team that shapes each patients experience at Erie. *Compensation is based on each candidates experience skills and education within the range identified for the role. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements of the role will start at entry in the range. Any additional skills experience and education will be reflected in the compensation offered.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and oversight to front desk staff to ensure excellent patient experiences accurate information collection coverage assessment and respectful collection of patient fees.
  • Ensures operational procedures and processes are consistently implemented and adhered to by modeling professional behaviors.
  • Responsible for front office functions including patient scheduling rescheduling when providers call off and maintaining efficient patient flow during registration.
  • Completes daily deposit reconciliation ensures proper handling of petty cash and reviews and reconciles complex billing requests raised by the team.
  • Coordinates hiring onboarding performance management training and ongoing coaching for front desk team members.
  • Serves as a main point of contact for deescalation conflict resolution and collaboration with medical dental and behavioral health teams while supporting site operations and front-end revenue cycle (FERC) initiatives.


Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent with six (6) years of progressive leadership experience including at least two (2) years supervising direct reports; OR
  • Associates degree or two years of college with four (4) years of progressive leadership experience including at least two (2) years supervising direct reports.

Skills Knowledge and Experience

Required:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural competency to work with a diverse patient population.
  • Knowledge of use of Microsoft Office suite products
  • Two (2) years experience in a healthcare or office setting required
  • Two (2) years experience in supervising direct reports required

Preferred:

  • Intermediate EPIC skills are a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
