Job Summary: The Nurse Supervisor (Assistant DON) provides leadership in planning developing and implementing programs to enhance patient care quality and employee performance within the Behavioral Health department. Oversees clinical operations monitors compliance and supports nurse managers in corrective action and performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and staff performance.
Monitor clinical performance and collaborate with nurse managers on quality initiatives.
Assist with corrective action processes and performance management.
Develop and maintain record-keeping systems for medication errors and counseling documentation.
Support departmental compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements
Minimum seven (7) years of nursing experience including five (5) years in a supervisory role.
Minimum two (2) years of Behavioral Health experience (Assistant DON experience required).
Staff will not work approved Agency Public Holidays.

Education: Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN).

Certifications: BLS.

License
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
