Pay Rate: $28.00 Per Hour

Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a Full-time Recreational Therapistto join our teamat PontiacCorrectional Center Located in PontiacIllinois.

Under the direction of professional mental health staff the Recreation Therapistwill use recreational activities to accomplish treatment objectives foster skill building and problem solving in support of psychological stabilization for patients in a correctional setting.

Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 4:00pm

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field required
Certification as a Recreational Therapist (CTRS) required
Experience working in a correctional mental health setting preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
