Wage Range: $33.60 $40.70 hourly Non-Exempt

Position Overview:
The Hep C Behavioral Health Consultant serves as a team member of the NARA NW Hep C Free Initiative. The BHC role is to provide consultation assessments brief intervention and referral for clients especially those encountered during the Initiatives Outreach in the community and identified with SMI and at risk or in need of mental health or addiction services. This position will help design protocols and pathway workflows for integration of Psychiatric and Behavioral Health services from outreach to in-clinic care. Will participate in these workflows to increase access to Psychiatric Assessment and Prescribing services.
What you will do:
De-escalation as needed in all environments from outreach at the street level to the in-clinic setting.
Brief assessment and targeted intervention for behavioral health issues identified in all care setting.
Assist clients with mental health challenges in accessing and utilizing medical and psychiatric care through extensive patient navigation.
Consultation with Psychiatric and Medical providers on behavioral health issues as needed including behavioral support for medical issues such as Hep C and Substance Use Disorder.
Provide support to all team Members at street level Outreach and in-clinic.
Complete Mental Health Assessments service plans progress notes and other documentation as required.

Benefits:Employees working 20 hours or more are eligible for benefits. Benefits are effective from the 1st of the month following the date of hire.

Modeling alcohol sobriety means not consuming discussing or promoting the use of alcohol on the job on social media and when in the community where the employee would be likely to be seen by NARA NW clients or community. If in recovery employees must have been sober/clean for a length of time sufficient to demonstrate that they will be able to remain sober.
