Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton is looking for a full-time 1^stshift Medical Supply Clerk!

Summary:

Works closely with CNAs assisting in providing indirect care to the residents in support of the philosophy of Apostolic Christian Restmor and pursuant to the goals objectives and policies set forth by the administration.

Essential Duties:

Assists with distribution of medical supplies
Works with other departments to complete resident room moves
Cleans and fills various medical equipment
Assists with the tracking of resident equipment and checking expiration dates on various products
Assists in maintaining clean safe attractive environment for residents:
- Assists with maintaining order and cleanliness of resident rooms
- Routinely cleans wheelchairs Geri-chairs utensils bedside rails and other equipment and furniture as needed
- Reports broken or otherwise unsafe equipment or furniture
- Keep floors clear of objects and clean up spillage to prevent accidents and odor
- Empties garbage from carts and takes soiled items to laundry
- Keeps linen closets organized
Assists with care of residents including:
- Serving meal trays
- Distributing fresh drinking water and extra nourishments
- Making beds
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Ability to read write and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to see hear and speak.
This is a full-time position working 7:00am-3:00pm five days per week. The role requires a weekend rotation of every third weekend as well as up to two assigned holidays per year.

Physical Demands:

Walking and standing most of the day is required. Frequent stooping stretching bending reaching pushing/pulling. Occasionally required to sit use hands/fingers. Routinely required to lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Some exposure to potentially hazardous equipment chemicals and infectious waste.
