Classes Senior Supply Coordinator

Job Summary
The Classes Senior Supply Coordinator collaborates with their colleagues on organizing and coordinating all aspects of OMSI Classes supply needs including organization pick-up delivery ordering and care.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Performing the following will involve driving to various locations outside the museum:
- Purchase supplies for all summer classes programming;
- Track inventory and maintain accurate purchasing records;
- Works cooperatively with the Classes Management-and other Classes staff-to ensure program supply needs are met.
- Propose following season material needs through research and analysis of current season material use;
- Organizes educational materials to ensure all items are prepared prior to each class and weekly class reset;
- Maintains a safe work environment by following proper storage and transport procedures.
Secondary Job Responsibilities
Secondary responsibilities include-but are not limited to-the following:
- Works with Management staff to ensure all areas of program needs are met;
- Provides first aid care to participants and staff when necessary;
- Assists the Education Programs Supervisor in supervising Supply Coordinators.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to accurately plan and coordinate classes supplies and materials flow;
- Demonstrated knowledge of and/or ability to effectively practice project coordination;
- Demonstrated ability to pivot between individual and team work;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products;
- Exercises sound judgment while upholding high integrity and ethical standards;
- Strong interpersonal verbal and communication skills that adhere to confidentiality protocol and community agreements;
- Ability to learn current equity diversity inclusion and social justice theories and practical applications including critical theories of systemic oppression unconscious bias and personal identity and intersectionality matters.
Education & Work Experience
REQUIREMENTS:
- Leadership and/or project experience i.e. floor supervisor warehouse lead or similar;
- Minimum one year working in a fast-paced environment often with stringent and overlapping time constraints;
- Demonstrated experience or ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and talents in a professional work environment.
Additional Requirements/Preferences; Including Licenses and Certifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pre-employment checks such as criminal background checks and reference checks.
- Valid Drivers License and must meet OMSIs driving standards including passing a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check;
- Current CPR and First-Aid Certification:
- If not licensed training can be provided at no cost for selected candidates as part of the onboarding process.
