Position Summary

The Director of Digital Fundraising leads the development and execution of Good360s digital fundraising and donor acquisition efforts. This role focuses on growing the individual donor file and driving near-term revenue through digital channels while partnering closely with creative storytelling and donor experience peers to ensure fundraising campaigns are compelling donor-centered and effective as the Individual Giving program is built and scaled.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

Digital fundraising strategy and campaign design

  • Develop and execute digital fundraising strategies that support donor acquisition and near-term revenue goals
  • Lead the design of digital fundraising campaigns appeals and pilots including creative concepts messaging approaches and testing plans
  • Contribute to the development of the annual and quarterly fundraising campaign calendar in partnership with the Vice President of Individual Giving and the Director of Donor Experience & Retention
  • Develop clear creative briefs that align fundraising goals audience strategy and performance objectives

Creative and channel optimization

  • Partner closely with storytelling and creative colleagues on fundraising messaging and creative needs
  • Lead donor acquisition efforts across digital channels including paid search paid social display CTV SMS acquisition and workplace giving
  • Identify and test new audiences channels and creative approaches
  • Optimize performance across targeting creative landing pages and donation flows

Performance data and systems

  • Monitor and analyze campaign and channel performance such as cost per donor conversion rates and revenue pacing
  • Translate performance data into clear insights and recommendations that inform creative channel and investment decisions
  • Support revenue forecasting and scenario planning
  • Partner with fundraising operations database management and business intelligence colleagues to support accurate reporting and performance tracking
  • Collaborate on data definitions attribution approaches and reporting frameworks related to acquisition and digital campaigns
  • Document learnings from tests and campaigns to inform future strategy

Budget management and vendor partnerships

  • Manage the digital fundraising expense budget including planning pacing and forecasting in alignment with revenue goals
  • Oversee relationships with digital fundraising media and creative agencies ensuring strong performance accountability and alignment with strategy
  • Partner with finance and fundraising colleagues on invoice processing budget tracking variance analysis and reforecasting

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with the Director of Donor Experience & Retention to align acquisition strategies with donor lifecycle goals and experience standards
  • Partner with storytelling content gathering and website management colleagues to support effective digital fundraising execution
  • Contribute to shared planning testing and learning across the Individual Giving program


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital fundraising and donor acquisition
  • Demonstrated experience leading creative-driven digital fundraising campaigns and testing creative at scale
  • Exceptional creative judgment and the ability to translate strategy into compelling messaging and concepts
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (Nonprofit Cloud or NPSP) or comparable CRM platforms
  • Experience with Fundraise Up Classy or similar donation and fundraising platforms
  • Experience with paid media platforms including Google Ads and Meta
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools such as GA4 Power BI or similar
  • Ability to operate effectively in an evolving build-from-the-ground-up environment

Salary Range
$110000 $130000 annually

Note: Compensation is based on a candidates experience skills education and geographic range is based on Washington (DMV) market data; offers to candidates outside this area will reflect local market data.

Work Location
Hybridbased in our Old Town Alexandria VA office (minimum of two days per week with Tuesday as an anchor day)
