Job Summary
Job Title: CVOR Technologist (Travel)
Location: Greenville South Carolina
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts
Shift Hours: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
Total Hours: 40 hours/week
Position Overview
A hospital is seeking an experienced CVOR Technologist for a travel assignment. This role supports cardiovascular surgical teams in a fast-paced operating room environment and requires strong technical expertise and adaptability.
Responsibilities
Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and open-heart procedures
Prepare maintain and monitor sterile surgical fields
Anticipate procedural needs and manage surgical instruments
Operate and troubleshoot CVOR-specific equipment
Ensure patient safety and compliance with surgical protocols
Collaborate effectively with OR staff anesthesia and physicians
Maintain accurate case documentation
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and workflows
Ability to function efficiently in a high-acuity OR setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Education Requirements
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent
Required Certifications
BLS (AHA) required
Active state license
