We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Provides advanced expertise and leadership in endpoint engineering and management services for the Defense Health Agencys extensive and diverse IT as a key specialist responsible for designing implementing and optimizing endpoint management solutions across DHAs global network of military hospitals medical clinics and dental the development and implementation of comprehensive endpoint engineering strategies that align with DoD cybersecurity requirements Risk Management Framework (RMF) NIST guidelines and various DoD strategies including Zero Trust ICAM and Digital these strategies are effectively implemented across approximately 250000 end-user devices including desktops laptops mobile devices and medical and oversees the implementation of advanced endpoint management architectures including mobile device management (MDM) enterprise mobility management (EMM) and unified endpoint management (UEM) seamless integration of these systems with DHAs existing IT infrastructure and security and implements robust endpoint security measures including endpoint detection and response (EDR) advanced threat protection data loss prevention (DLP) and encryption that all endpoints maintain a strong security posture against evolving cyber initiatives to standardize and optimize endpoint configurations across the DHA network developing and maintaining secure baseline configurations for various device types and use cases. Implements automated processes for configuration management and compliance with cybersecurity teams to integrate endpoint management solutions with broader security operations including security information and event management (SIEM) systems vulnerability management platforms and incident response the implementation and management of patch management processes for all endpoints ensuring timely application of security updates and maintaining compliance with DoD security and implements strategies for secure remote access and telework capabilities ensuring that off-site endpoints maintain the same level of security and compliance as on-premises efforts to automate endpoint management processes developing scripts and leveraging AI and machine learning technologies to enhance efficiency reduce human error and improve security in endpoint-related expert guidance on endpoint engineering best practices to IT and security teams across and delivers training programs to ensure all relevant personnel understand and adhere to established endpoint management policies and with clinical engineering teams to develop secure management strategies for medical devices and other specialized endpoints balancing security requirements with clinical functionality and regulatory regular reports on the state of endpoint management within DHA including metrics on device compliance security incidents and operational findings and recommendations to leadership for continuous abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in endpoint engineering particularly those relevant to large-scale complex healthcare IT and implements improvements to enhance security user experience and operational : Masters degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity Information Systems or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CompTIA Security or equivalent) are management-specific certifications (e.g. Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert VMware Certified Professional - Digital Workspace) are highly :8-10 years of experience in endpoint engineering and management with at least 5 years focused on large-scale complex have demonstrable experience in implementing and managing comprehensive endpoint management solutions preferably in military or healthcare with DoD security regulations and endpoint management frameworks is :Ability to obtain a Public TrustOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
