Implements automated processes for configuration management and compliance with cybersecurity teams to integrate endpoint management solutions with broader security operations including security information and event management (SIEM) systems vulnerability management platforms and incident response the implementation and management of patch management processes for all endpoints ensuring timely application of security updates and maintaining compliance with DoD security and implements strategies for secure remote access and telework capabilities ensuring that off-site endpoints maintain the same level of security and compliance as on-premises efforts to automate endpoint management processes developing scripts and leveraging AI and machine learning technologies to enhance efficiency reduce human error and improve security in endpoint-related expert guidance on endpoint engineering best practices to IT and security teams across and delivers training programs to ensure all relevant personnel understand and adhere to established endpoint management policies and with clinical engineering teams to develop secure management strategies for medical devices and other specialized endpoints balancing security requirements with clinical functionality and regulatory regular reports on the state of endpoint management within DHA including metrics on device compliance security incidents and operational findings and recommendations to leadership for continuous abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in endpoint engineering particularly those relevant to large-scale complex healthcare IT and implements improvements to enhance security user experience and operational : Masters degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity Information Systems or a related field.
