POSITION SUMMARY


Directors of Marketing & Communication provide exceptional service to our clients and supportFinancial Advisor(s) (FAs)/ Private Wealth Advisor(s) (PWAs)/ teams on a daily basis. The Director ofMarketing & Communication is a senior service level position for a Financial Advisor(s) (FAs)/ PrivateWealth Advisor(s) (PWAs)/ teams who plays a vital role in supporting the teams growth and overallbusiness development goals through various branding advertising and marketing activities. TheDirector of Marketing & Communication is an integral member of the team and is also responsible forincreasing the visibility of Morgan Stanleys various programs events and initiatives to clients.


DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:


Marketing & Digital Strategy:
Supports the FA/PWA/team in developing and refining a cohesive marketing plan that focuses ondriving team growth and enhancing the client relationship
Manages and implements creative marketing and communications strategies plans and approachesto market and position the team to existing and prospective clients
Creates all written visual and digital marketing messages and materials
Uses the Firms digital tools on behalf of the FA/PWA/team to modernize their practice enhanceclient relationships and generate increased business
Manages the FA/PWA/team digital presence via channels such as social media and FA websites

Monitors marketing projects analyzes results and liaises with the firms marketing departments
Utilizes existing systems to capture and update all new marketing activities including a masterpipeline prospecting activities and related reporting Communication Management:
Creates and updates client and prospect presentation materials including Request for Proposal(RFP) responses
Develops and manages client event planning from inception through execution and follow-up
Facilitates the Communication Review Group (CRG) process for all marketing materials
Develops and edits communication materials for firm offerings and announcements utilizing various
print and digital platforms (e.g. mailings blogs social media posts etc.)


EDUCATION EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:


Education and/or Experience
10 years of work experience in a field relevant to the position required
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or relevant field preferred
Active Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required

mutual funds annuities insurance and managed accounts
Technically proficient and quick learner of new and updated platforms
Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Expert knowledge of basic personal computer MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and internet
applications
Exceptional writing interpersonal and client service skills
Strong time management skills
Team player with the ability to collaborate with others
Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment
Adaptable and ability to multi-task

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $68000 and $120000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
