Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-timeInfection Control Nurse/Chronic Care (LPN) to join our team at PotosiCorrectional Center located inMineral PointMissouri.

The Infection Control Nurse/Chronic Care (LPN)is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving the prevention and control of infectious diseases. The Infection Control Nurse will coordinate the collecting interpreting and reporting of data assist in the development of care plans for patients with infectious diseases and will serve as a consultant to nurses physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding care tracking and reporting of patients identified with infectious disease.

Full Time Day shift Monday-Friday

Qualifications

Must hold valid LPN with IV certification in the state ofMissouri
CIC (Certification in Infection Control) preferred
1 to 3 years experience providing nursing care in a public health environment long term care or acute care setting with focus on infection prevention and control
Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification required
Experience in correctional environment preferred
Experience working with a high degree of autonomy required
Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
