DEPARTMENT: Transportation

POSITION: Driver

SUPERVISOR: Director of Facilities

HOURS: Part Time

HOURLY RATE: $17.00 to $17.50 commensurate with experience.

Duties:

Provide vehicle driving services as requested and scheduled by Director of Facilities or designee to include safe transportation of Gan Kavod Inc. residents and Sitrin Adult Day Health Services registrants to and from day programming sites and other assigned errands.

Operates all facility automobiles trucks and buses. Assists riders entering and exiting vehicles. Lifts up to 50 lbs. Works indoors and outdoors in all climates.

Conduct and document preventative checks of vehicles including but not limited to check of oil coolant and other key fluids.

Wash facility vehicles as needed.

Arrange for periodic servicing of vehicles per service contract.

Receives and follows oral and written work assignments from Director of Environmental Services.

Performs duties according to the highest ethical and moral standards and in adherence with the facilitys corporate compliance plan and all applicable governing laws. Adheres to the facilitys confidentiality statement in accessing and safeguarding protected health information (PHI) of residents and employees as necessary to perform job duties.

Perform any additional duties as requested by the Director of Facilities.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Safe driving skills and ability to work with motorized equipment appropriate to fulfilling job duties.

Current Commercial Drivers License Class D or higher with passenger endorsement and clean driving record required.

Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
