Job Title: Programmer Advanced (Lead Power BI Dashboard Developer)
Location: Columbia SC (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12 Months

Position Overview
Navitas Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Power BI Dashboard Developer to join a data visualization systems team supporting public health and health services initiatives. This role involves designing developing enhancing and maintaining advanced data visualization solutions that support executive decision-making fiscal accuracy and auditing capabilities.
The ideal candidate will play a leadership role by mentoring junior developers collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact dashboards and data models aligned with agency-wide analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze design develop test document implement and enhance data visualization solutions supporting health services programs.
Develop advanced Power BI dashboards including complex data models KPIs and visualizations to support accurate fiscal-year calculations expenditure rollups and executive reporting.
Lead the development of enterprise-level dashboards including an intangible asset tracking dashboard for senior leadership.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on Power BI best practices and visualization standards.
Collaborate with data analysts system integration teams and program stakeholders to ensure accurate and meaningful data representation.
Ensure dashboards and systems integrate with electronic document management systems (EDMS) and geographic information systems (GIS).
Produce monthly architectural snapshots workflow diagrams backend schemas and related technical documentation.
Maintain comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries technical definitions and operational guides.
Provide ongoing support issue resolution and enhancements for supported applications.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Critical Job Functions
Work collaboratively in a team environment to implement maintain and support applications such as Power BI and Tableau.
Adhere to established application development standards and best practices.
Oversee dynamic dashboard reporting and underlying data connections for selected health information systems.
Ensure timely and accurate project communication and administrative documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
3 years of experience with Power BI
3 years of experience creating technical documentation
1 year of project management experience
1 year of data modeling experience
