Job Summary
Rivia Mind is expanding our distinguished Psychiatry team with an opportunity for a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who values clinical excellence and comprehensive patient care. As a physician-founded practice we understand the importance of creating an environment where psychiatrists can practice meaningfully supported by a robust operational infrastructure. This role will assist in the development and launch of our expansion to working with Adolescents and maintain a diverse range of patients across ones caseload.
Youll work within our multi-disciplinary team of 150 mental health professionals while maintaining the decision-making authority essential to psychiatric practice.

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
Patient Care (70%)
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and medication management
- Develop personalized treatment plans for diverse patients (50/week)

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent quality clinical care on a frequent recurring basis that exemplifies Rivia Minds culture values and guiding principles
- Provide services to a diverse demographic of patients with an average caseload of 50 patients per week / around 8-12 per day (Caseload numbers may vary based on clinical judgment patient needs etc.).
- Maintain a consistent weekly patient care schedule in alignment with Rivia Minds standard productivity expectations.
- Follow Care Model practices that emphasize continuity of care high-frequency follow-up appointments and effective calendar management.
- Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans.
- Curate comprehensive patient-centered treatment plans and provide resources as needed.
- Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT DBT motivational interviewing etc.) with proper Psychopharmacology prescribing practices.
- Appropriately prescribe medication prescriptions & refills considering the best judgment of the patients well-being.
- Provides clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a tele-health environment.
- Provide clinical guidance and valued input to patients and peers.
- Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation. (i.e. Notes submitted by EOW)
- Participate in and support routine and ad-hoc clinical-wide meetings and internal trainings to foster an engaging and continuous learning team environment.
- Be an ambassador of Rivia Minds culture by exemplifying our values and working with our mission at the forefront.
- Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun collaborative and co-learning environment that benefits individuals well-being self-improvement and potential.
- Provide support to Psychiatric Supervisors as needed for coverage and other administrative tasks.
- Perform other related role and team function duties as assigned by department and group leaders.
Qualifications Skills & Attributes
Required Education Level: Doctorate
Education Details:
- Earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited school
- Completed a Psychiatry residency program completing diverse rotations including Primary Care within the training program
- Completed a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Additional residencies appreciated are: Neurology Internal Medicine and Obstetrics-Gynecology
Licensure/Certification Requirements
- Active and in good standing license for at least one of these states:
- New York New Jersey Connecticut Florida or Massachusetts as a Medical Doctor
- An active and unrestricted license to practice medicine and a DEA number for at least one of the states listed above
- Board-certified in Psychiatry
Additional Qualifications Skills & Attributes
- Ideally 1 (one) or more years of post-residency clinical work experience in Psychiatry across the lifespan
- Interest in growing into a Supervisory role within our practice
- Proven experience and desire to support Psychotherapy treatment
- Psychotherapy Modality experience (CBT DBT etc.)
- Psychodynamic Modality experience preferred
- Experience working with Patients in an Outpatient setting
- Telehealth/telemedicine experience
- Prescribes Medications
- Confidently and efficiently document concurrently within patient sessions
- Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
- Patient Education
- Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
- Proficient with utilizing diverse technology platforms and systems (Google Suite company-wide platforms/software and EHR platforms when applicable)
- Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude required

Compensation & Employment Details
Pay Range: $250000 to $300000 base salary
Pay Type: Salary
Bonus Terms: Our compensation package includes a base salary based on compensable factors. Additionally clinicians are eligible for quarterly bonuses of up to $2000 (up to $8000 annually) awarded based on defined metrics related to clinical excellence and care model performance.

Work Schedule
We collaborate with each provider to determine a mutually beneficial and sustainable schedule. Our focus is to develop a supportive schedule that meets both the needs of our patients and the providers preferences. Your schedule will be determined with you before starting the role.
- Our operating hours are M-F: 8 am to 8 pm and Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm but we do allow a schedule to have a start as early as 7 am and end as late as 9 pm M-F.
- In-office day is based on availability if hybrid work is preferred
- Include at least four(4) hours within your schedule which should be after 5 pm on a weekday or have hours on the weekend.
- On-call is not required but checking and responding to emails on unscheduled days is required unless on PTO.
- Having a consistent weekly schedule is necessary but start and end times per day can be different each day of the week as a set recurring schedule.
We appreciate the dedication and care our providers bring to their work and the patients they serve. Occasional flexibility may be needed to accommodate patient needs or support the growth of your caseload such as scheduling initial consultations managing urgent concerns coordinating care with the broader team and completing other responsibilities.

Compensation Determination: The pay range listed reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for this role determined through an internal compensation assessment that considers similar labor markets to our practice across the United States. Actual compensation is influenced by compensable factors such as location role responsibilities required skills relevant experience qualifications role level and applicable credentials. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted addition to base salary total compensation may include bonuses commissions or other incentives depending on the role.
