The Team: The S&P Global Fixed Income Pricing Team has responsibility for providing coverage quality and service across several pricing products. The team provides support for pricing millions of instruments a day (internally and externally) while proactively enhancing the methodology for pricing Fixed Income securities. S&P Globals services are used by institutions to help them monitor risk mark-to-market and develop accurate forecasting models.


Responsibilities and Impact: This opening provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate with Fixed Income markets (Securitized Products CDS Loans and Corporate Bonds preferred) and data management interests and experience. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented self-starter to help support the needs of our Americas client base and work with other team members around the globe. The position focuses on daily pricing responsibilities as well as partnering across sales and technology teams to help in the development automation and quality control efforts to further S&P Globals Fixed Income Pricing Services

  • Responsible for supporting and supervising the day-to-day running of S&P Globals Fixed Income Pricing business
  • Will be required to gain an in-depth product knowledge of S&P Globals pricing products and be able to speak effectively on them internally and externally
  • Provide exceptional client service by responding to client questions on pricing and methodology and performing price challenges
  • Will be required to build external relationships with clients in addition to receiving feedback and acting on feedback from customers on our products
  • Responsible for daily evaluation in the form of assessing the quality of data provided and removing data sources that do not pass rigorous data quality checks
  • Adjust daily pricing assumptions to reflect security performance in current market conditions
  • Generate metrics and reports on the quality of pricing data
  • Will propose and help implement process improvements to realize enhanced quality and improve efficiency across S&Ps pricing products.
  • Work across the pricing products and the broader organization to effect change and identify opportunities to grow the business (special focus on sales and business development)

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base hourly wage for this position will be $30USD.

What Were Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelor Degree in Financial Engineering Finance Economics Mathematics or a related relevant field of study completed by May 2027
  • Understanding of financial markets knowledge of and exposure to Fixed Income products
  • Proven analytical problem-solving and quantitative skills. Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Knowledge of SQL VBA and other programming languages advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with teams senior members of the organization and clients
  • Team player attitude is vital for the role. This includes giving and receiving constructive feedback as well as a deadline-orientated approach to group projects
