About the Team
The Performance Automation and Monitoring team is redefining how developers test and validate performance at Postman. We build enterprise-grade performance automation and monitoring platforms and are pioneering Agentic AIdriven testing that allows developers to create performance and automation tests without writing codedirectly impacting customer trust and paid adoption.
What Youll Do
Design and build scalable distributed performance testing infrastructure
Develop Agentic AIpowered systems that enable no-code/low-code performance and automation testing
Partner with AI platform teams to define agent workflows abstractions and guardrails
Integrate performance testing automation and monitoring into a unified quality platform
Collaborate with product frontend and platform teams across the US and India
Help make performance a default trusted signal in the development and release lifecycle
About You
- 6-8 years experience as Software Engineer
Have strong experience building distributed backend systems at scale
Have worked on performance testing reliability automation or observability platforms
Are excited about applying Agentic AI to improve developer workflows
Enjoy translating complex systems into simple powerful developer experiences
Are comfortable owning systems end to end and working with distributed teams
The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $220000 to $240000 plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidates skills qualifications and experience.
