The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Health Services Senior Manager to lead the administration and execution of Boeings on-site occupational health clinics and Accommodation Services. This role is responsible for developing and implementing integrated departmental plans policies and procedures that enhance occupational health service quality regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. The Senior Manager will contribute to the strategic direction of the Health Services organization aligning occupational health initiatives with broader business goals. Deep technical expertise in occupational health management and regulatory requirements is essential.
This position allows for the selected candidate to be based out of one of the following: Mesa AZ; Auburn WA; Everett WA Renton WA; Berkeley MO; North Charleston SC; El Segundo CA; Huntington Beach CA; San Antonio TX or Ridley Park PA.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee the administration of Accommodation and Clinical Services ensuring compliance with occupational health laws regulations and industry standards (e.g. OSHA ADA)
Manage operational aspects of on-site medical clinics virtual occupational health support and Reasonable Accommodation including but not limited to:
Injury Care and Occupational Health Examination Programs
Determination and Documentation of Medical Restrictions
Medical Review of Accommodation Requests
Travel health assessments and Immunizations
OSHA Hearing Conservation and Vision Screening Programs
Fall Protection Weight Determinations
Fitness for Duty Evaluations
Reasonable Accommodation requests determinations and case management
Collaborate with Safety Workers Compensation Human Resources and other stakeholders to support occupational health and safety initiatives and reasonable accommodation
Identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions to optimize service delivery and employee experience
Lead mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of occupational health professionals fostering a culture of compliance collaboration and continuous improvement
Manage third-party service providers to ensure quality cost-effectiveness and regulatory compliance
Facilitate effective communication of occupational health and accommodation services and policies across the organization
This position requires 100% onsite presence at one of the designated Boeing locations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of 5 years experience managing occupational health clinical operations including oversight of clinicians and healthcare subject matter experts
Preferred Qualifications (Skills/Experience):
Strong knowledge of occupational health and accommodation regulations standards and best practices (e.g. OSHA ADA DOT CDC guidelines)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex occupational health issues and make informed decisions
Proven capability to manage multiple occupational health initiatives and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
Proactive solutions-oriented mindset with demonstrated success driving occupational health program improvements and innovation
Solid understanding of risk management principles as they apply to occupational health and workplace safety
