Job Summary
Financial Analyst $75000$90000 Plex Required
Location: Metro Detroit
Looking for an experienced Financial Analyst with Plex ERP experience to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners with engineering manufacturing and purchasing to deliver cost insights build financial models and support strategic budgeting/forecasting. Your work will drive pricing strategies capital allocation and operational efficiency.
What Youll Do:
Lead month-end and quarter-end close: reconcile balance sheets prepare journal entries ensure SOX compliance
Handle Accounts Receivable: customer invoicing cash application bank reconciliations
Provide daily and ad-hoc sales reporting
Manage fixed asset accounting: capitalization depreciation impairments and audits
Identify cost-saving opportunities optimize inventory and reduce working capital
Maintain KPI dashboards and management reporting packages (P&L bridges cash-flow analyses)
Support other tasks as needed to help the business
What You Bring:
35 years in manufacturing or automotive supply finance roles
Experience with standard costing variance analysis inventory valuation and asset accounting (GAAP depreciation reconciliations)
Budgeting and forecasting in multi-plant operations
Advanced Excel and Plex ERP proficiency
Clear communication to turn data into actionable recommendations
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
Nice to Have:
Continuous improvement experience
Comfortable creating structure in ambiguous situations
