Who you are:
- You bring 45 years of accounting experience including at least 12 years in public accounting (strongly preferred).
- Youre proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets; strong data analysis is one of your core strengths.
- You have excellent analytical problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills.
- You thrive in cross-functional collaborative environments and know how to build effective working relationships.
- Youre highly organized with strong time-management skills and can balance working independently while also being a strong team contributor.
- Youre comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Youre flexible curious and energized by tackling new challenges and learning new approaches.
- You think strategically and can connect day-to-day work to broader business outcomes.
- CPA licensure is a plus.
What youll do:
- Manage all aspects of customer billing and collections with accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee vendor contracts payments and renewals to ensure strong vendor relationships and streamlined processes.
- Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly financial reporting packages for leadership.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and proactively resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and post journal entries with precision and appropriate documentation.
- Lead or support external audits preparing audit work papers and serving as a key point of contact for auditors.
- Analyze financial data to identify insights trends and opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls company policies GAAP standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Support ad hoc initiatives and special projects to help the team and business achieve key objectives.
