These efforts are monitored and assessed regularly to ensure accountability to all Summary:The paraprofessional is responsible for supporting the classroom teacher and students in activities directly related to education in the Duties & Responsibilities:The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:-Assisting in the education and social development of students under the direction and guidance of general or special education teachers (remotely and/or in person)-Providing support for students as determined by needs-Assisting in administration of state/district wide assessments-Implementing small group instruction as directed by the lead teacher in a variety of content areas-Maintaining confidentiality of student information-Managing student behavior under the direction of lead classroom teacher-Completing additional duties as assigned-Substitute teach as neededEqual Opportunity EmployerLawrence Public Schools is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment for employees and applicants.
